We have published a new English case report describing a thumb
near-amputation caused by an electric saw.
Although the patient was advised at a university hospital
that flap surgery would be required,
the wound was managed conservatively using
Natsui-style moist wound healing,
without surgical intervention and without antibiotics.
The clinical course from Day 0 to Day 63 is documented
with multi-directional images
(dorsal, volar, lateral, and frontal views).
We hope this case contributes to international discussion
on fingertip injury management.
